DOSPL uses the following guidelines to execute client projects successfully:
1. Project Planning:
Project Workbook
Each project team will maintain a project workbook. Each team member has to fill online daily work report .So that Project Manager can know the status of the project.
The Project Workbook should document:
-
The progress of the project over time, documenting all tasks undertaken
-
The effort expended on each task, individual responsibilities for tasks
-
All tracking reports related to the project plan
-
All decisions affecting the scope and conduct of the project
To a considerable extent, the workbook follows on from the project plan, and shows how the plan has been followed and what modifications have been necessary over the course of the project.
The workbook should include:
-
A copy of the task list and assignments from the original project plan.
-
A record of task completion, and of all modifications to the task list.
-
Details of change procedures, and of all proposed and approved changes to project scope and conduct
-
Forms for configuration management and version control
-
records of team meetings, including client and supervisor meetings.
-
copies of any correspondence relating to the scope and conduct of the project.
It is expected
that the workbook will be in the form of a loose-leaf binder, allowing the easy
incorporation of material. A master index should be established and maintained
throughout the duration of the project. Presentation is not important, though
it is expected that all items will be legible and reasonably grammatical.
